Biodiol cream 0.05% contains Estradiol which is Bio-Identical and Isomolecular to the female hormone estrogen. This is a hormone replacement therapy (HRT) that is used to treat symptoms associated with Estrogen Deficiency States and Menopause. This topical preparation (Transdermal route) helps to treat hot flush, vaginal burning, dryness, and itching cause due to lack of estrogen.

Biodiol cream is used as the treatment or support of the conditions associated with Estrogen deficiency states like Menstrual irregularities, Menopause, Micromastia, Low libido, Sexual Dysfunction, Vaginal Dryness, Hot Flushes, Dyspareunia, Endometriosis, Senile Vaginitis, Senile Urethritis, Osteoporosis, Male to Female transformation treatments.

Use Biodiol in the exact way as instructed by your doctor. Do not apply in larger or smaller quantities than recommended. Even if your symptoms improve, you should continue the treatment as it has been prescribed. Do not stop using the medicine until the full course is completed.

You may experience irritation or itching at the initial phase of using the medicine. This usually goes away if you continue using it. You may also get pain in your abdomen, a genital rash, headache, and vaginal thrush (candidiasis). Tell your doctor if you have bleeding in your vagina.

Before using this medicine you should tell your doctor if you have unexplained vaginal bleeding or if you have ever had a blood clot in your legs or your lungs or any cancer. Once you have started using this medicine you should have regular check-ups to discuss the benefits of your treatment. It should not interact with any other medicines but it is not usually recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

It may not suit everybody, and you should tell your doctor if you have, or have had, breast cancer, unusual bleeding in the vagina, or liver disease. You may be monitored more carefully if you have liver, kidney, or heart problems or have diabetes or asthma or epilepsy or migraine. You should avoid Smoking while on this medicine. You should avoid this medicine if you have or had Deep Vein Thrombosis. Let your doctor know your medical history to be safe. Let your doctor know about all other medicines which may affect, or be affected by, this medicine. You will probably have several tests both before and during treatment.
